Privacy Policy

Resell Scanner ("the app") generates marketplace listing drafts from photos of items you want to sell. This policy explains what data the app processes and how.

Photos

When you create a listing, the photos you take or select are transmitted over an encrypted connection to our server (hosted on Cloudflare) and forwarded to Anthropic's API to generate the listing text. Photos are processed transiently and are not stored on our servers after the response is returned to your device. They are never used for advertising, profiling, or training our own models.

Data we store

• Anonymous device identifier — a random UUID generated on your device, used solely to enforce free-tier usage limits. It is not linked to your name, email or any account.
• Usage counters — how many listings a device identifier has generated.
• Subscription status — managed by RevenueCat (our subscription infrastructure provider) using an anonymous identifier. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple; we never see them.

Data stored on your device only

Your listing history (generated drafts and thumbnails) is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. Deleting the app deletes this history.

What we do NOT do

• No accounts, no email collection, no contact upload.
• No advertising or analytics SDKs.
• No tracking across apps or websites.
• No sale or sharing of personal data.

Service providers

• Cloudflare — hosting of our processing server.
• Anthropic — AI processing of photos to generate listing text.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• Apple — payment processing for subscriptions.

Your rights

Since we hold no data linked to your identity, there is nothing for us to look up by name or email. If you want the usage counters tied to your device identifier deleted, contact us and include the identifier shown in the app's settings, and we will remove them.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly process their data.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves; the current version is always available at this address.
